GiggleGrid: Toddler Games - Privacy policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
The short version
GiggleGrid: Toddler Games is a game app for little children, made by GiggleGrid Academy. It has no ads, no accounts, no tracking and no analytics, and it does not collect any personal data. Nothing your child does in the app is sent to us or to anyone else.
What stays on your device
To work, the app saves a small file on your phone or tablet only. It holds:
- for each child you add: the animal face you picked, their age group, and a name only if you typed one (you can leave it empty);
- settings such as music on or off;
- which games were already tried, and whether all games are unlocked.
This file never leaves your device. We can't see it. You can delete it any time by removing a child on the grown-ups page, clearing the app's data in your device settings, or uninstalling the app.
What we don't do
- No advertising, and no ad networks or ad SDKs.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs, no device IDs, no location.
- No accounts, sign-in, chat, or links that open other apps or websites for children.
- No camera, microphone, photos or contacts access.
- We never sell or share data - there is none to share.
Buying "Unlock all games"
Some games can be unlocked with a one-time purchase. The button is behind a grown-ups check (press and hold for 3 seconds) so children can't reach it alone. The purchase is handled entirely by Google Play using your Google account. We never see your card or payment details. Google Play only tells the app whether "Unlock all games" is owned, so it can unlock the games again after a reinstall. Google's own privacy policy applies to the payment: policies.google.com/privacy.
Internet
The games work offline. The app only uses the internet to talk to Google Play about the unlock purchase.
Children
The app is made for children aged about 1 to 4 and follows the Google Play Families policy. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children (or from anyone).
Sounds, pictures and credits
Animal sounds, pictures and music are either made by us or used under free licences; the full list is on the app's grown-ups page.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
